ABOUT
What I Do
I spent over five years with the Fraser Northwest Division, holding various roles that supported division members with diverse communications initiatives, including member newsletters and clinic website development. I found a passion for supporting Divisions and since then I have collaborated with numerous Divisions across the province as a communications consultant on a wide range of projects designed to enhance the physician experience. These include designing recruitment-focused websites, creating posters, print materials, and business cards, redesigning Drupal-based websites, developing new Division sites using Wix, crafting strategic communications plans, and producing annual reports. I have an inside understanding of how Divisions work - I speak the language - and I can translate your vision into reality.
Division budgets can be challenging, and hiring a full-time staff communications coordinator is sometimes not fiscally feasible. As a consultant, my contract options are flexible and can be project-based or ongoing, depending on the division's scope and needs—fully customizable for any budget.
COMMUNICATIONS WORK FOR DIVISIONS
Web Design
I can revamp your Drupal site or build a brand-new website for your Division using Wix. Additionally, I specialize in creating subject-specific sites, such as those focused on recruitment or PCNs.
Newsletters
Whether you’re enhancing an existing member newsletter or starting from scratch, I’m here to help with layout, content, and design to create an engaging and effective communication tool for your members.
Annual Reports
Showcase your Division’s achievements over the past year through a compelling annual report. By combining images, physician stories, and key data, we can craft a narrative that truly brings your accomplishments to life.
Print Materials
From clinic posters to brochures, business cards, and informational handouts, traditional print-based communication remains a powerful way to connect and engage effectively.
Emily was introduced to our organization at a time when we had no clear communication or engagement strategy. As a healthcare-focused nonprofit, developing an effective plan to connect with busy healthcare providers seemed daunting. Emily not only created a clean, user-friendly website that we can easily update but also developed a newsletter template, a streamlined information-gathering process, and comprehensive communication guidelines for our team. Her work consistently exceeded our expectations, delivered with remarkable speed and minimal direction.

Emily is a talented web designer; her creative vision and technical expertise blend seamlessly to deliver stunning and functional websites. She has an impeccable eye for detail, ensuring every design element aligns with the brand's identity. Beyond her technical skills, Emily is a joy to collaborate with—her professionalism, clear communication, and dedication to delivering high-quality results make her an invaluable asset to any project. I highly recommend Emily for anyone looking to elevate their online presence with outstanding web design and development.
Susan Kirk | White Rock South Surrey Division
Our experience with the website Emily created is fantastic! Our website is easy to navigate and aesthetically matches the overall feeling of our clinic. The site has been a great asset, ESPECIALLY during Covid-19. We are always able to update our latest information for everyone to see at a moment's notice, this helps our workflow and limits the amount of phone calls we get about general inquiries. We find the website a great asset to the clinic.

Emily's ability to approach problems from a creative angle and come up with unique and effective solutions has been one of our organization's greatest assets over the past several years. This, combined with her exceptional communication skills and aptitude for working well in teams and leading others, has contributed to the success of many projects and programs within our organization.
